The Vermont Interconnect Team



The Vermont Interconnect Team is made up of a group of people who are interested in the world above 144 Mhz. The Vermont Interconnect team is very pleased to announce the addition of three new repeaters to the central vermont area! Check the repeater page for more information. Some of VIT’s Goals Include:

--- The Exploration of the possibility of and limitations of 144 MHz, 440 MHz and 1.2 GHz digital voice and data communications.

--- linking Vermont’s underutilized 2 meter repeaters via 440 MHz or Internet and helping individuals and clubs with financial problems to help maintain and improve their repeaters.

--- Facilitating the establishment of a statewide network of VHF and UHF machines that are independent of the power grid that can provide reliable hand held and mobile communication in the event of a statewide or local emergency.
